"Come on sis! I want to play dominoes with you!"
"Haha, okay I'm coming, I'm coming" I sat down as my little brother started stacking the dominoes, one by one, in a straight line.
"You're so good at this! But watch what I can do" I put him on my lap and hugged him as I started curving the dominoes to turn to the right, and his eyes light up like the full moon outside.
"How did you do that?! That was awesome! Can you teach me to do that sis?" I laughed and nodded to the excited boy

"Are you guys playing with dominoes again? Cecilia, why don't you make some friends?" I heard as my mother approached me with father not far behind.
I shook my head
"No thanks, besides I already tried to. But all they did was make fun of my hair. Also mom, remember, we changed my name to Cracciliac months ago."
"I know bu-"
My little brother cut our mom off" but sis your hair is so pretty! I wish my hair was like yours"
I laughed at my brother's remarks "really? Because I am really jealous of your dirty brown hair" I started messing up his hair "now it looks amazing!"
"Aww, you messed up my haaaaaiiiir" He stared at me with an un-amused face, and I just laughed
"Cracciliac, stop messing with your brother's hair, and I agree with your mother you should try to make friends, it will be good for you" My father insisted while I let out a deep sigh
"Fine... Hey, you want to the park tomorrow and make some new friends?" I asked my sibling excitedly
"YES PLEASE!" his eyes gleaming with happiness. That happiness that told me, everything will be alright. Oh how wrong was I?
"okie dokies! We’ll go in the afternoon tomorrow, but for now... let’s finish our dominoes!"
My parents just stared at each other, sighed and left us two alone once again.

"So where were we?" I looked down and smirked towards him
"You were about to teach me how to turn the dominoes around!"
"oh yes, so all you have to do is make the domino slightly turn to the left or right, so which way do you want to go?” I said as I held up one of the dominoes with a big smile on my face
“That way this time!” he pointed his finger up pointing to the left
I laughed and placed the domino down, curving to the left “would you like to try now?”
“Would I?!” he excitedly got off my lap to the other side of the dominoes. He lifted a domino up and trying to carefully place it down “like this?” as he was trying to ask, he accidentally knocked the other dominoes down. “I-I’m sorry sis” and slowly big tears fell down his round face
“Oh please don’t cry” I placed him in my arms and bounced him around trying to get him to laugh “we can build a bigger one, bigger than any we have ever built before!”
He turned towards me, rubbing one of his eyes with his little hands “really?” he let out a small sniffle
“of course, I promise!” he still looked a bit upset as he nodded his head “hey do you want a chocolate?” he slowly nodded his head once again as he reached for the sweet candy “ah ah ah, first you have to give me a smile, and then I’ll give it to you” and with that he let his grin shine, so I handed him his treat “hmm it seems like we should get to bed now, go brush your teeth and I will tell you a bed time story”
With a hop skip and a jump he was off to brush his teeth and get ready for bed.

“WAKE UP SIS!!!” I heard as I was in slumber
“AHH!” I looked towards him, and him laughing his head off”
“I scared you didn’t I sis?”
“haha, yes you did you lil monster” I cried as I caught him in my arms squishing him half to death, “so you want to go to the park now I presume?” I asked as I let him go
He nodded excitedly

“I want to go on the swings first!” he said as he happily skipped along dragging my hand
“Aww but I wanted to go on the slide” I whined, making him laugh at me
“ok, but then you push me on the swings!”
“DEAL”

For a while we just played around, swinging, sliding, and playing tag, and other numerous games

“Hey sis, your name is Cracciliac right?”
I nodded “I’m surprised you can even say it”
“Of course I can say it sis” he laughed, and so did I.
“Maybe I can give you a nick name since it is pretty difficult to say!”
“Ok, since you’re the smartest lil boy ever, how about you think of it?”
“Umm.. How about… CRACKER!”
I stared at him funny and laughed “do you think of me as a food?”
“Yup!” he laughed “ok I’m just kidding, how about Celia?”
I thought for a while “hmm, that would have worked with my old name buddy”
“OH I GOT IT!”
“what?”
“C4!”
“C4? Why C4?”
“Because there are 4 c’s in your name! And it’s an explosive too! Kind of like you”
The last part hurt a bit but I agreed “ok, and how do you know its an explosive”
“You said so yourself sis, I’m the smartest boy ever” and he smiled from ear to ear

“Yes you are!” suddenly, I heard music play, that’s when an ice cream truck came around “I’ll be right back ok?” I wanted to surprise him with a big cone of ice cream, as I ran to the truck, I heard him cry out for me.
I turned back only to see him on the ground, bleeding, with a car behind him
I gasped, tears escaping my eyes, as I held him in my arms crying out “you’ll be okay” over and over again to the little boy. Someone behind me frantically called for an ambulance.
“d-don’t cry sis… h-here I saved this for you” he held out his hand which had a slightly melted chocolate in his hand “but… I w-will only give this t-to you if you smile…for me…” he closed his eyes and smiles to me.
Minutes later an ambulance came… but it was too late…


we will never be able to make the giant domino line like I promised


It has been a year since the accident; I have been avoiding everyone since then, including my parents. Anyone who has tried talked to me has only gotten a knife to their neck.
As I was walking through a forest, I saw a girl near a secluded lake. She saw me, so I quickly tried to walk away, I did not feel like putting my sword up today, but unfortunately she caught up to me. Her name was Levia. She was attending an academy for people like us, hybrids. We talked for a while, about our pasts and our pains. Apparently she was created by one of my parents co-workers. She told me to join the academy and I quickly agreed to. I told my parents and they were fine with it, ONLY if I was going to make friends. But I did not want anyone, anyone who will be close or near my heart. I don’t want to lose anyone anymore. So I need to drive everyone away, scare them with threats, and rude behavior. Like a fallen domino, I need to start all over again.
